Hi Members,

The Photographic Club has been affected by recent deviant art changes and the club is now in basic format, we are no longer able to display thumbnails or display our created galleries on the front of our club page, this will have a direct effect on the way we run the club as we used to like to display monthly features and we had a separate "members images" gallery for displaying and collecting submissions.

These changes will now result in no monthly features and we will now ask members to only submit to the "featured" gallery as this is the only gallery we are able to display in full on the front of our club page.

We are both incensed by these changes as both of us (Joel & Rick) are fully paid up members of deviant art, something that used to cover the club features. The Photographic Club is a voluntary group that we set up for fun and to help our members spread and share their photography.. Something that in itself aids deviant art and no doubt increases their paid memberships overall. We never envisaged having to pay further membership on something that was run on the behalf of other people, we don't think either us or our members should have to pay for these basic features such as thumbs or custom folders etc.. As these features were once available to us as standard.

We hope you understand and we will continue to share your images in the usual way and we are sorry to have to end the monthly features.. If we can find a way around this we will do so.

Please submit your images into the "featured" folder from now on (and accidental "members images" submissions will be transferred into "featured" by ourselves for the near future)
